An important part of the Know Pathology Know Healthcare campaign is educating politicians about the vital role of pathology in caring for patients in hospitals and in the community. To do this we take politicians inside the laboratory to see the highly skilled staff and the technology first hand. We have now completed over 100 such tours. Some highlights are below from lab tours in 2019 including Chris Bowen MP, Shadow Minister for Health (NSW); Dave Sharma MP (NSW), Josh Burns MP (VIC), Peta Murphy MP (VIC) and Gavin Pearce MP (TAS).
