CIE report outlines benefits of pathology testing

The Centre for International Economics (CIE) has released their 2018 report  The economic value of pathology: achieving better health, and a better use of health resources which suggests that investment in pathology has not just improved health outcomes, but better economic outcomes as well by detecting conditions earlier and often before symptoms becomes clear.

The report looks at pathology activity in Australia, pathology’s impact on health outcomes, and how the economics of pathology works.  Click here to download the report.
